SKAN vs. Sandbox: what advertisers need to know

苹果的SKAN(即将重构为AdAttributionKit)与谷歌的Privacy Sandbox代表了iOS和Android两大生态在隐私归因上的不同路径。SKAN采用黑箱模式,严格限制时间窗口(2、7、35天)和仅6位(64种可能)的转化数据位,导致数据粒度极低;而Sandbox的Attribution Reporting API提供30天灵活窗口和128位数据位(超10亿倍容量),但受归因预算和随机噪声限制,需要更精细的前期规划。

在隐私保护机制上,两者均通过聚合和延迟上报防止个人识别,但方式各异:SKAN在低量数据时直接隐藏post-install活性,而Sandbox通过添加伪造噪声模糊真实数据。这意味着广告主需保证充足的媒体预算和集中的投放策略,以穿透隐私阈值获得可靠报告。此外,SKAN的postback延迟长达144小时,而Sandbox的聚合报告仅数小时可用,但事件级报告仍滞后1-30天。

Sandbox的开放架构允许MMP(如AppsFlyer)基于其API构建创新方案,实现跨网络last-click归因——这是SKAN不具备的。然而,Sandbox需要更复杂的技术整合,而SKAN虽简单但功能极其有限。目前,部分广告网络尚未完全适配SKAN(且不支持Apple Search Ads),Sandbox也处于起步阶段,导致市场形成多重数据孤岛。

为应对碎片化,广告主需依赖单一数据源(SSOT)合并多渠道表现,同时利用MMP的标准化翻译(如null modeling或噪声校准)将数据位转化为可操作指标。在隐私优先时代,投放策略应更聚焦预算、减少分拆,并拥抱延迟和聚合的现实,从而在合规前提下实现增量提效。
